Award-winning author-Illustrator of children’s books based in Prague, Czech Republic. Galina Giorgadze is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).

My debut author-illustrated picture book, Myšulek, won the Talent of the Year 2024 literary award at the Havlíčkův Brod Book Fest in Czech Republic. Two of my other picture books were longlisted among the 30 best worldwide for the KeyColours Competition (2024).

As an illustrator, I am self-taught, and I hold a PhD in Philosophy — because why not? After teaching at the Academy of Decorative Arts and Design and spending over 10 years writing books in a different genre, I’ve shifted to picture books. Now I dream of the day my stories find their way onto bookshelves (fingers crossed!).

For me, drawing children's illustrations is a joyfu dive into the best of worlds!
